I grew up watching people I loved avoid perfumes, not because they disliked beautiful scents, but because traditional alcohol-based formulas felt harsh, drying, and overpowering. For them, applying perfume wasn’t a luxury; it was something to be cautious about. For me, it sparked a question that never left my mind: If we are making so much of our lives gentler and safer, why not our fragrances?
When I first shared my vision of a purely water-based perfume, the reactions were almost always the same—disbelief, polite skepticism, or outright rejection. “Perfume can’t be made with water.” “It won’t last.” “It’s impossible.”
But every “no” only fueled the determination to prove them wrong.
Months turned into years of relentless research, testing, and reformulations. Every setback was a reminder of the people I wanted to create this for—those who deserved a signature scent that is entirely alcohol-free, deeply hydrating for the skin, perfectly safe for hair and fabrics, and beautifully long-lasting.
